d181d0bdd0b8d0bcd0bed0ba-d18dd0bad180d0b0d0bdd0b0-4 Hey, guys, FretBoard application for iPhone is finished now and will be available soon in the Apple Store (I believe in it..) !

I’ve done this application together with Marc Mennigmann from German for last month and need to say that I didn’t expect that it will be such comfortable and easy to use application for musicians when began to designed it.. Thanks for Marc’s detailed description of his great ideas!

I ever sad that I hadn’t got something like that in the period when I can waste a lot of time to playing guitar =) I used Guitar Pro for chords and only knew 1-2 variations of each chord that I used. But here is user can see all notes and places of the certain chords (and scale and only note if it needed!).

(Photorealistic landscape view is rendering with using graphics from Marc’s friend Sean Stirling)

Look at it, you can see strings, notes, note names, different note marks for different notes.. It’s so clearly! I’ll try to play chords using FretBoard and surprise - I never can play scales so fast and easy. It’s amazing =)

It’s just some words about this application that is still warm of recently coding, there will be much more features and I think that the current version is not the lastest. You can see more information about this application on its official site. But nevertheless is better one time to try than one hundreed times to read about it =)

Updated (2009-04-19): Hey FretBoard hit the AppStore tonight! Here is the link.

Updated (2009-05-04): If you want to try FretBoard before buying it, you might want to have a look at FretBoard LE which is now available from the App Store. FretBoard LE has all features of the full version, but only a database of 5 chords and 5 scales. Further it does not save your changes (settings) when you quit the application.
Give it a try and download it from the App Store.
